Dave Read is a Canadian short-form poet and asemic writer living in Calgary.

Laura Ortiz is a Canadian Argentinian artist. Member of the European Avant-Garde Art movement, INISM founded by Gabriel Aldo Bertozzi. She moved to Montreal, Canada, in 2007.
Laura's abstract works have been featured in exhibitions at contemporary art venues in Italy, Spain, USA, Argentina, Mexico, India and the Netherlands. She has been published in/on many of the major, influential visual poetry journals and abstract blogs such as Utsanga, Brave Old Man, FrequenzePoetiche, Writing against itself and more.
Laura’s visual works are packed with glyphs, letters and symbols superposed with abstract shapes. Her visual treatment of letters, symbols and glyphs has helped her gain a place in the International Novatrice Infinitesimale founded in 1980 in Paris, France.
«Laura Ortiz, the Pearl of the Three Worlds (born in Argentina, has European ancestors and lives in Canada), has given mystical, mysterious, arcane meanings to her abstract writings (digital inigraphy and iniste photographs). As Inism wants: “The use of new calligraphic, alphabetical, symbolic and alchemic writings (often using the symbols of International phonetics) assumes the value of creation, not of imitation, and of knowledge, not photographable reality. These signs, named «inias» are an orchestration of feelings and thoughts, the multiple and global vision which life gives us “. Her still unpublished messages to me are real “poèmes en prose”».

It is all an experiment.
All is process, flux. I cross the lines, as do many of my peers, drawn across a variety of manifestos.
I Drift into pure textual experiments, yet often in the making there are radical shifts, chance collisions, gatherings, and the pieces evolve with a life of their own across the various paradigms of Asemic, concrete,and Visual poetry.
The images, a reflection of the zeitgeist a diary of visual language, at times direct at times obscure, reflecting various modes and times of the making.
As places dwelt they are in the past, while we continue in the flow.
