Karla Van Vliet is a poet, artist and Integrative Dreamwork analyst. Her newest books are She Speaks in Tongues (Anhinga Press,) a collection of poems and asemic writings, and Fluency: A Collection of Asemic Writings (Shanti Arts.) She is a Forward Prize, a three-time Pushcart Prize, and Best of the Net, nominee. Her poems have appeared in Acumen, Poet Lore, Green Mountains Review, Crannog Magazine and others. Her paintings have been featured in Women Asemic Writers, UTSANGA.IT, Still Point Art Quarterly, Stone Voices Magazine, Champlain’s Lake Rediscovered, and Gate Posts with No Gate: The Leg Paint Project, as well as WAAVe Global Gallery: Women Asemic Artists and Visual Poets 2021, and GRAPHOS - International Sample of Asemical Writing. Anthony Villarreal

Truthfully, sometimes, I wish that this would go by a lot faster.

But then..

I'm reminded of how quickly life comes at you, and how you better hold onto those precious moments, in those specific seconds, as closely as possible.

I've spent a great deal of time contemplating how to describe this to you.

I wish I could say it's a drawing and leave it at that, but I was never afforded that luxury.

I might tell you it's writing, but I doubt you'd believe me.

It's not my place to convince you or make you see anything.

All I can do..

..all I ever can do, is tell the truth and do my best.

So, with that my precious family and friends..

In recent times, I have also been stealing special time-stamped messages, their language and communication situations from social media platforms as well as the technology of meme factories. RUBRICA D'UFFICIO, 1991/2019 (Cultura / Turismo / Spettacolo)

Italo Carrarini est né à Tivoli (Italie) en 1953.

Il a commencé à peindre très jeune, donnant vie à une figuration hyperréaliste riche en connotations analytiques.

Entre 1975 et 1976, il mène une activité intense pour le "Centro Culrurale Arti Visive" de Tivoli où il réalise diverses installations.

En 1978, il publie Souvmirs, recueil d'interventions et de témoignages de 1971 à 1977.

Il abandonne progressivement la peinture pour s'intéresser à la photographie, au mail art, aux installations, aux décors et aux performances depuis le début des années 1970, avec un travail d'ensemble qui participe de certaines instances post-conceptuelles.

Il est présent dans des expositions en Italie et à l'étranger, notamment : Situazione '77 et Un 'opera per unambiente à la Galleria San Fedele de Milan : à Millenovecentoottantatré à Roccaforte di Bard ; chez Presenza/Absenza e Dismesures, Tivoli : Book Art, Berlin ; au IXe Festival International Neoist de Ponte Nossa ; à In Dies, la biennale d'art de Villa di Serio. à l'exposition multimédia Prato Creatio Libitum.

Promeut et participe à certains projets "Mail Art". Ces dernières années, il a assimilé divers aspects de la vie quotidienne dans ses recherches, les divisant en «activités de bureau» et « activités de temps libre ».

Il entretient une relation intense avec la montagne, point de référence constant pour de nombreuses idées créatives.
